Support

Prepped is made by one person, and that person reads every message. Email support@tryprepped.app and you'll hear back within a couple of days.

Importing from another app

Most recipe apps can export your library as a single file. Save that file somewhere you can reach from your iPhone or iPad, such as Files or iCloud Drive. Then in Prepped open Settings, choose Import from another app, and pick the file. Prepped reads .zip and .json exports.

Every recipe comes across in full, with photos and notes. If your library is bigger than the free tier's thirty, the rest are saved and locked rather than skipped: you can read and cook from them, and Pro unlocks them for planning.

Saving a recipe from a website

Open the recipe in Safari or any browser, tap the share button, and choose Prepped. If Prepped isn't in the list, scroll the share sheet to the end, tap More, and switch it on. The recipe saves in the background; if the page can't be read, it's kept as a draft for you to finish.

Getting your recipes out

Settings has an Export button. It is free, it is never gated, and it includes everything. Your recipes are yours.

Subscriptions

Prepped Pro is billed through the App Store. To cancel or change your plan, open Settings on your device, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps every recipe you saved; past thirty they simply can't go on the plan.

If you've bought Pro and it isn't showing, open Prepped's Settings and tap Restore purchases. A purchase follows your Apple ID, so it restores on a new phone and on your iPad.

Using more than one device

Your library mirrors to your own iCloud, so it's on every device you sign in to. On the free tier, one device is active at a time; opening Prepped on another lets you switch to it with one tap. Pro keeps every device active at once.
